RUSHMORE HIKE BASICS:
The Rushmore Society, your real life social network of very busy people, INVITE ALL to join us on our famous Southern Oregon hikes. It’s one of the easiest, coolest ways to meet neato active people!
WHO: All welcome / MEMBER DETAILS ABOVE
VIBE: Social — Positive — Fun
WHAT TO BRING: Lunch – Water – Camera – Smile – Sunscreen – Hat – Good Trail Shoes – Head Lamp or Flashlight if you happen to have one (not necessary).
JACKSONVILLE MAZE SPECIFICS:

HIKE DEPARTURE: 20 minutes later
ESTIMATED RETURN: 2 – 3 hrs later
DOGS: Yes, doggies are allowed
HIKE DIFFICULTY RATING: moderate
HIKE DISTANCE: 4 – 8 miles – various ele gain
COMPLETE JVILLE DESCRIPTION:
One of our new “in-town” hikes this season, each time we will explore the maze of trails within the Jacksonville Trail System, and Forest Park, to we find something new. On weekdays, we often keep the hike shorter. On the weekends, we may extend our exploration.
With a wide variety of rolling trail off-shoots, this hike is like a Choose-your-own-Adventure. Each time, and new route!
It’s the perfect short evening workout, to get some fresh air and fresh people.
Or, an extended weekend day adventure, though still not overly strenuous.
We’ll shoot for between 4-miles and 8-miles round trip hike.
