Every month, Rushmore provides adventurous opportunities to get out and explore Southern Oregon.
This year includes 3 snowshoes, cosmic sledding, 3 rafting trips, Klamath Lake canoeing, Crater Lake Ziplining, rock climbing and mountain biking days, and our famous 16-hike series — so join us today!

CASTLE CRAGS DESCRIPTION:
Located only 80 miles down I-5, Castle Crags is nonetheless a world away, providing a unique all day journey to strange landscapes and rock formations.
This Memorial Day tradition for Rushmore members is rated as “T” FOR TOUGH, with 10 total miles that include significant elevation gain and challenging terrain.
HOWEVER, don’t be scared off yet!
With a variety of vista pit stops on the way to the top, members looking for a shorter workout can rest, recover and even halt their journey if you’re willing to wait for others to summit.
Trust us, the views are worth it no matter what your current fitness level.
Experienced Rushmore leaders guide those choosing to summit on the easiest and safest paths to REACH THE DOME!
And don’t even get us started on the post-hike meal and Yaks on the 5!
