THE FIRST OF THREE SPECIAL RAFTING EVENTS in summer 2026, getting you out the door and into the water, partying, exploring, and getting SPLASHED!
Rushmore’s annual party raft is an absolute blast, and a rite of passage in Southern Oregon.
We gather roughly five 14′ boats, pile 6-9 people and a cooler in each, and float away!
Featuring SMALL MILD rapids, our first Rushmore Rafting event of the season is more Party Float than Party Wave Crasher.
Jump from the ‘Rocks’, spray each other with water cannons, take a dip in SMALL rapids as we mosey our way down the Upper Rogue.
RUSHMORE RAFT BASICS:
WHO: Official members + their Guests ONLY, no General Public sales, like, join or get your own crew
VIBE: Social — Positive — Fun
WHAT TO BRING: Snacks – Lunch – Bottled Water – Camera – Smile – Sunscreen – Hat – Good Water Shoes or secure sandals
**IF YOU HAVE A MEDIUM/LARGE COOLER that you are willing to bring, please message Rushmore. Each boat will carry a cooler, and if you got a good one, sweet!
PARTY RAFT SPECIFICS:
CARPOOL CONNECT: 9 am at North Fred Meyers parking lot, off Crater Lake Hwy
WHERE EXACTLY: back corner of parking lot, sorta near the Bear Creek Locksmith Kiosk
RAFT RESERVATION: 10:30 am
RETURN TIME: 5:00 pm
POST RAFT REFRESHMENTS: Phil’s Frosty or Miguel’s Mexican, depending on our vibe.
COST: 15 / 19 / 24 for members / 29 for guests / (no refunds after July 1st, we have to reserve and pay weeks in advance to secure boats)
LIMITED SPACE: 32 paid attendees

ADDITIONAL INFO:
ABILITY LEVEL: novice. This is a “Float”
SOCIAL FLOAT. While you can definitely get some rapids, you can also avoid them completely, and float your day away. As long as you can swim, you can participate!
GETTING RAFTS TO RIVER: all transport and boat drop off is handled by the rafting company.
SAVE TIME: We’ll Print their waiver ahead of time, and have you sign at our carpool point.
WHAT ELSE TO BRING: Again, sun protection, and some water are a MUST!
Water proof bag – assume your electronics WILL get very wet if not protected.
Water Cannons – it’s fun to take aim at other boats, or dare we say, have some friendly fire.
Adult Beverages – in addition to water, adult beverages are allowed so long you DO NOT have a paddle in your hands. Learn and love the law, baby.
Coolers – if you’ve got a good medium to large cooler, bring it EMPTY to the meet up spot, where we will make sure each boat will have one, and get ice at Fred Meyers accordingly.
Water-proof Bluetooth Speaker – fun tunes make the day fly by
