Not an official member? Make 2018 a year to remember. Don’t hesitate!
WHAT: Cosmic sledding is out of this world. Groomed sledding runs, convenient tow-up so no walking back up the 400 ft hill, under the stars! Fire pit, tubes provided.
WHO: This popular event is reserved for our contributing members who keep us going every month! Plus ones, who should be encouraged to become a member to the cause, are also cool.

CARPOOLING MEET UP: North Medford Fred Meyer’s, near Bear Creek Locksmith Kiosk, 4:45.
CARPOOL VEHICLES: If you’ve got a snow-worthy vehicle, awesome. If not, hop in an open carpool seat.
COST: $30, paid at Diamond Lake Resort.
WHAT TO BRING: 1) Layers of clothes. 2) Thermos of hot or adult beverages for sipping around the fire pit at the base of the hill. 3) Snacks to share. 4) If you have a special tube or sled for sledding you want to bring, preferably deflated with a pump, go for it. The resort also provides downhill devices with your ticket. 5) A big smile and willingness to connect with pals!
RETURN TIME: Plan on returning to Medford around 10pm.
WEATHER DEPENDENT: Rushmore Society will re-schedule or cancel this event in case of unsafe winter weather conditions or lack of snow. Please refer to the Facebook invite for updates as the event nears.
ABOUT THE RESORT: Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s Southern Cascade Mountains, Diamond Lake Resort is located on highway 138 just five miles north of Crater Lake National Park, and a 90 minute drive from Medford. All highways leading to Diamond Lake are well maintained for year round travel.
