The Rushmore Society invites our members to rock our 2021 Winter Adventure Series featuring snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, and a big snoball fight — seven events getting you out the door, exploring our region while connecting with rad local pals.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Become a member of the Rushmore Society, your real life social network of very busy people, and get into our 2021 Winter Adventure Series! We’re the most positive, laid-back, adventurous crew around.
We organize it all, you sit back and enjoy!
COMPLETE EVENT DETAILS:
WHAT: Cosmic sledding is out of this world. Groomed sledding runs, convenient tow-up, so no walking back up the 470 ft hill, under the stars! Fire pit, tubes provided.
WHO: This popular event is reserved for our contributing members who keep us going every month!
Plus ones, who should be encouraged to become a member, are also cool.
CARPOOLING MEET UP: North Medford Fred Meyer’s, near Bear Creek Locksmith Kiosk, 4:40-4:55pm. We need to leave by 5 pm at the very latest.
**Due to Covid, carpooling will be more limited than past years. Only drive with people in your social “bubble”.
CARPOOL VEHICLES: If you’ve got a snow-worthy vehicle, awesome. If not, hop in an open carpool seat and toss some gas monies to your driver.

COST: $32 for members, $36 for non-members. This year, the Resort is doing online pre-sale tickets ONLY.
Tickets are not available at the Resort itself, and are NOT available for large groups.
We have 6 LIMITED EDITION TICKETS HERE:
WHAT TO BRING: 1) Layers of clothes. 2) Thermos of hot or adult beverages for sipping around the fire pit at the base of the hill. 3) Personal snacks. 4) A big smile and willingness to connect with pals!
RETURN TIME: Plan on returning to Medford around 11 pm.
WEATHER DEPENDENT: Rushmore Society will re-schedule or cancel this event in case of unsafe winter weather conditions or lack of snow. Please refer to the Facebook invite for updates as the event nears.
ABOUT THE RESORT: Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s Southern Cascade Mountains, Diamond Lake Resort is located on highway 138 just five miles north of Crater Lake National Park, and a 90 minute drive from Medford. All highways leading to Diamond Lake are well maintained for year round travel.
