The Rushmore Society, your real life Social Network of Very Busy People invite our members and special friends of members to a whitewater float along the most action-packed section Lower Rogue River that is still easily accessible by all experience levels!
BASIC EVENT INFO:
ABILITY LEVEL: moderate. This all-abilities, solo raft float does includes seven Class-II rapids, along with wide, flat sections for all your summer time relaxation needs. Easily completed by novice solo rowers.
Please ask us if you have questions. Think big splashes but nothing death-defying.
MEET: 9 am at the Orange Torpedo Raft Company (Post Office across the street from the O.P.R.C is ideal for parking).
WHAT TO BRING: Water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, etc.

CAN I BRING MY OWN BOAT: Yes. Please contact us for specific information. You do not have to purchase a ticket, but you may be responsible for transporting your boat. However, we often have others doing the same., and we can connect you to coordinate on making it easy!

TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED: Seven days in advance. You can usually still join after that, but YOU are responsible for calling (541) 479 – 5061 to make a personal reservation. Call to check on boat availability, ask to join the Rushmore reservation, and pay full price.

Relaxing Afternoon: Trip length – 4 hours from time you meet us, typically a little over 3 hours of actual floating. Highlights include:
- Put-in – Ennis County Park Boat Ramp
- Take-out – Grave Creek Boat Ramp
- Distance – 7 miles
- Biggest Rapid: Class II+
- All the gear you need
- We take care of all your logistics
- Get some BIG splashes
- Lots of swimming opportunities
- Most action-packed Rogue River day section
Ennis Bar to Grave Creek: roughly 4 hours on the river. This is the “locals favorite” half-day trip. On this trip you are able to get the most whitewater in the least number of miles. With the 7 best class II or II+ rapids on the Rogue this section has the whitewater making it thrilling and also floats past the famous “jumping rock” where crowds gather in the summer to watch everyone test their courage.
