FALL COLORS ARE POPPIN‘ in the Rushmore Society, your real life social network of very busy people, as we take on the classic fall Rogue Valley hike up Hobart Bluff.
It’s a perfect opportunity for fun vibes and a workout, and get that camera ready ‘cause in the the fall will be popping atop Hobart.

HIKING DISTANCE: 7 miles, 986 ft. elev. gain
HIKE DIFFICULTY: Moderate, 6 out of 10
HIKE TIME: 3 hrs.
THE HIKE:
Located just 25 minutes from Medford, Hobart Bluff provides a gorgeous 8-mile round trip climb, and rewards hikers with 360’ views of the Valley. See picture in the header, that’s Hobart!
DIFFICULTY:
With a gradual 1,000 ft elevation gain, this gets a Rushmore Difficulty Rating of six outta ten. Definitely a workout, but all make it to the top.
WHAT TO BRING:
Layers of clothing. It can be quite windy at the top of Hobart in fall time, so hats, gloves, and layers are definitely in order. And, don’t forget the essentials, lots of water and sunscreen.
