Rushmore’s annual Lower Rogue tahiti float is an absolute blast, and a rite of passage in Southern Oregon.

DESCRIPTION:
2024 Trip Plan – In 2024, our plan is to do the roughly 4.5 hours float between Hogs Creek to Argo.
New this year, we are renting and shuttling with River Dance Rafting Company in Merlin (very close to our old partners at Orange Torpedo).
They will also shuttle us to are drop in and pick us up at our pull out points!
So, no more packing our own gear and doing the car switchero!
Highlights include:
- Put-in – Hogs Creek Boat Ramp
- Take-out – Argo Boat Ramp
- Distance – 10.3 miles
- Biggest Rapid: Class II+
- All the gear you need
- We take care of all your logistics
- Get some BIG splashes
- Lots of swimming opportunities
- Most action-packed Rogue River day section
Hogs Creek to Argo: a roughly 4.5 hours on the river. This is the “locals favorite” 3/4-day trip. On this trip you are able to get the most whitewater in the least number of miles.
With the 7 best class II or II+ rapids on the Rogue this section has the whitewater making it thrilling and also floats past the famous “jumping rock” where crowds gather in the summer to watch everyone test their courage.
