Rushmore invites ALL our members to our famous Adventure Events in 2025!
Every month, Rushmore provides adventurous opportunities to get out and explore Southern Oregon.
This year includes 3 snowshoes, cosmic sledding, 3 rafting trips, Klamath Lake canoeing, Crater Lake Ziplining, rock climbing and mountain biking days, and our famous 18-hike series — so join us today!

DESCRIPTION:
Juxtaposed as two grand bull fighters facing each other about to charge, Pilot Rock, and it’s northern cousin Table Rock, are iconic Southern Oregon dots in the shadow of Mt. McLouglin.
Luckily, they are also much easier to climb than their austere mother.
Giving a big THUMBS UP to the south valley, Rushmore members also give Pilot Rock a big thumbs up, labeling it as a “M” for Moderate adventure that remains easy until a 1/2 mile steep ramp up to the base of the summit.
Not comfortable climbing to the top? Rushmore to the rescue.
Our leaders can show you the easiest route to the tip top for gorgeous sunny views.
Or, you can choose to chill at the base and relax.
Either way, Pilot Rock is a “bucket list” Southern Oregon adventure not to be skipped!
