The purpose of the Family Nurturing Center is prevent child abuse and neglect.

- Support children as they heal from difficult life experiences
- Provide an array of services to families in crisis, helping them rebuild their lives and raise healthy children
The Family Nurturing Center is a part of Oregon’s innovative and comprehensive response to support children and families in crisis. The Family Nurturing Center is one of 30 Relief Nurseries throughout the state, all working to support the communities in which they operate. The FNC focuses on the needs of children, their parents, and the family as a unit by offering supportive services to keep children safe and families together.
The Family Nurturing Center (FNC), Rogue Valley Children’s Relief Nursery is a child abuse and neglect prevention and intervention program serving vulnerable families with children from birth to age five. FNC was created in May of 2006 in response to the growing number of child abuse victims in our area. From a small beginning in one room with four children, we have grown to a staff of over 60 professionals serving families via therapeutic early childhood experience, home visitation program, mental health services, family stabilization and care coordination, parent education, respite, emergency support and advocacy.
