The Rushmore Society, your real life social network of very busy people, is stoked to present our nine-event 2019 Winter Adventure Series.
Nine snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sledding adventures designed and organized to get everyone out the door exploring, working out, falling down, laughing, Doing More and Living more all winter long.
ALL THE EVENT BASICS:
Our 2019 series begins with a venture up to Mount Ashland for a moderate 4.5 mile out-and-back snowshoe from the Mt. Ashland Lodge to Grouse Gap, with great winter-y views of Mt. Shasta and south valley.
CARPOOLING: Have a snow-worthy vehicle? Want to drive? Our day begins with a meet up at Luna Cafe parking lot off of I-5, exit 14, at 10:30 am. Drive yourself or hop in a snow-worthy vehicle.
**Note: we can only 100% guarantee seats for our official members, but this is rarely a problem. Chains may be required.
CHALLENGE LEVEL: You must be in good physical condition to complete this snowshoe. Overall, the route is mostly flat and moderate. Questions, just ask us!
COST and RENTING: we recommend the following awesome local businesses to rent shoes from (which usually run $12-15) — Mountain Provisions and Northwest Outdoor Store —

FINAL NOTES: RUSHMORE is a social adventure network, not an outdoor guide team. We invite all to participate at their own risk. Regardless, each participant will be required to sign a waiver to cover our butts.
