We’re getting you out the door, exploring and supporting cool, locally-owned tasting rooms and vineyards, eating delicious small plates, and sipping local vino, in comfy, beautiful spaces!
THE DAISY CREEK STORY:
Daisy Creek Vineyard, named for the meandering stream which flows through the property from its source high in the mineral-rich Siskiyou Mountains to its end in the Rogue River, is located on the eastern boundary of Jacksonville.
Suffused with history, the vineyard itself surrounds and spans the remnants of a slurry mine where turn of the century prospectors sifted the sands and gravels of Daisy Creek looking for gold.
These sands, rocks, gravels and rich amalgam of minerals have swept down from the mountains over millenia, and now comprise a treasure of unique soils, which nurture the vines and makes instantly recognizable wines.
