THE BASICS:
Our annual Killer Mystery Party is always a highlight of the Rushmore calendar year.
Never played A Mystery before? Don’t miss this.
You’ll receive a detailed character, complete with costume suggestions (go ALL OUT), a description of other characters you know at the game, objectives and motives well in advance of your arrival to the party. Then, the Mystery unfolds…
WHO: members & THEIR guests, General Public
WHAT: a 32-person murder mystery
WHERE: Private event at Stoneriver
HOW LONG: 5 hours of fun!
VIBE: Social — Silly — Fun
HOW: Grab Ticket. Receive character. Read description. Get amazing costume. Arrive at party. Let the fun begin.
TICKETS: 32 spots available, and they go FAST. Don’t wait.
**Ticket includes complete character, hosted game-play, facility-rental, finger food, game prizes, and fancy pictures. All beverages and food can be purchased separately at Stone River during the event.

THE 2024 GAME:
THE SETTING: Chicago! is hoppin’ in the 1920’s, full of gangsters, bootleggers, party girls, movie stars, gamblers, corrupt politicians, and of course, the Temperance League.
As the afternoon drifts towards evening, thirty-two people descend upon the Rushmore Speakeasy, famous for good times, loose men, and smart women.
UNFORTUNATELY, all is not well. Gang wars have erupted, calls for stricter controls on bootleggers have arisen, and the recent allegations of Stan’s Big Race being fixed have all, momentarily, dampened the party spirit.
HOWEVER, you can’t keep a good town down for long, and the Rushmore crew is ready to rock Stoneriver with jazzy music, costumes, treasure hunts, dancers, and whodunit energy.
IN RUSHMORE’S ‘SPEAKEASY MYSTERY’, not everyone is as they seem – many have dark secrets they need to keep hidden… and someone is the murderer!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- STEP ONE: Grab a ticket to the party
- STEP TWO: Receive a character
- Characters are given out on a first come, first-to-purchase basis. If you have a specific type of character you are just dying (pun) to play, please let us know and we’ll do our best based on the remaining list.
- STEP THREE: Read through your characters background
- You’ll learn their motives, objectives, who and what they know and a host of other info that helps you enjoy the game.
- STEP FOUR: Get a scary, fun, and rad outfit
- Dressing up and assuming a character is more than half the fun of playing a murder mystery. Go all out! And DON’T WAIT TILL THE LAST MINUTE!
- STEP FIVE: Arrive at 2:00 pm on the 27th
- Getting organized and not feeling rushed is the best way to enjoy the game.
