CARPOOL POINT: Pump House, Talent / 9:00 am
HIKE DEPARTURE: 9:20 am
ESTIMATED RETURN: 5:00 pm

NOTES: This is a tough, but doable climb for experienced hikers, also providing many turn around and view points ☀
This is one of the classic hikes near the Rogue Valley.
The first three miles are an uphill battle with amazing trees and views to ease the burn, and the last two miles to the butte are basically a switchback with beautiful wildflower and manzanitas.
From the old lookout site at the end of the trail, you’ll have panoramic views of the Rogue and Little Applegate Valleys and surrounding mountain peaks, including Mount McLoughlin and Mount Shasta, Ashland, Pilot Rock, Crater Lake Rim, Thielsen, Bailey and a lot of Coastal mountains, total 360^ coverage of our Region!
This is DEFINITELY a workout, so bring lots of water, water, water!
