“Since joining, I have discovered that at least 3 of my friends have considered checking out Rushmore in the past but never have… I think there are tons of you out there, just wondering… Go to an event. Just do it. You won’t regret it. If you want to be more active and make new friends, meet truly good people and have lots of fun, just try it once. If you spend your evenings sitting in front of your TV and wish there was something more… There is!”
“…not to mention the awesome people that made today so great. HUGE HUGE HUGE shout out to the Rushmore Society – this day would not have happened without your amazing dedication to bringing people together.”
“The people are wonderful and welcoming. The activities are amazing!! I was nervous to show up at the first couple of events, but quickly warmed up to the group. Rogue Valley friends, let me know if you’re thinking about going to an event and I’ll go with you. It is so worth it!”
“All different ages. All different interests. I found great friends, and a sense of peace in Rushmore. I’m very busy, and I’ve taken breaks before, but it’s so nice to have all the events waiting for me!”
“When I moved from Sacramento to Southern Oregon, I left a bad relationship, a job that was driving me crazy, and a life that was all work and very little play. I hoped with moving that I would find a better job, and eventually a good relationship.
But there was something I couldn’t even imagine for myself and my life. This magical thing called the Rushmore Society. An amazing group of humans to share life adventures with, connect with, and support each other.
I never expected to be THRIVING. I didn’t imagine or hope for a life like this. Rushmore Society…each and every person I’ve met…you’ve changed my life in a way I never thought possible. Thank you!”
“I have to give a quick shout out to the Rushmore Society who are doing a wonderful job connecting people through real life networking opportunities.
Ultimate Frisbee at twilight, a seven mile hike up along natural bridge, connecting over a fire pit at a local business, and a Pink Out Party to help support one of our own in the biggest fight of her life. This is all in the last ten days.”
“Please contact me if you’d like to see what this thing is all about.

Most of you know I do fun stuff with the Rushmore Society. Outside my comfort zone for sure, until I got there. You can’t help but partake in the vibe. I did. The rest, is history.
Most of you also know my belief that a huge part of a fulfilling life is that you have to find something greater than yourself to be a part of. Something to put your heart into. The Society allows me to have that.
I really am glad I’ve gotten to be a part of what it was, what it is, and what it will be. I’m gonna keep doing what I can to support it. Not just so it’s there for me, so that it’s there for those down the road that might need/want it, or it might need.
“My first Rushmore event last year! What a life changing experience it has been since. I am left thinking about all of the amazing characters in my life. Each one with their own endearing quirks, talents, and stories… I love their differences, and how they all seem to work together.
I have incredible friends, and especially after nights like these, it is difficult to not feel grateful for my connections with them. New friends and old friends, all in one place, spreading fun and positive vibes. Just what I needed after a rough start to the week.”
I run this, but our members CREATE IT. I’m truly blessed in meeting so many people I would never have connected with…people from different backgrounds and places in life, with different interests and passions. They have enriched my life.
“Such great people, loving all these friends I met through Rushmore Society.”
“As I wake up early this morning feeling refreshed and blessed. I feel so grateful to be a part of Rushmore Society. Super fun adventures and kick ass people. Looking forward to this summer!!”
Today is 4 years since I took that step to joining Rushmore as a newbie. Because of them, I have gotten out of my comfort zone, I have done things I never thought I would…
